Job Description

We are looking for a part time or full time Accounting Associate to join our growing team! The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to work with accounting software as well as monthly accounting reporting, planning and execution.  A degree in accounting is preferred and bookkeeping experience is helpful but not required. This opportunity is perfect for those looking for flexibility or are looking to get back into the work force.

Job Requirements and Experience

  • Ability to speak, write, and communicate well with customers, vendors, visitors, and all Total Scope, Inc. personnel in person, via the telephone, and written correspondence
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals, trade journals, contracts, and reports
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Work independently and perform multiple tasks in a calm, efficient manner
  • Computer skills and familiarity with software packages like: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sage (equivalent or similar accounting system)
  • Perform duties requiring concentration, scheduling, forecasting, and planning
